WSGC Student Spotlight: Natalie Broderick

Natalie Broderick is an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, under advisor Ellen Zweibel. She is a junior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Physics, Astrophysics, and Philosophy, with a certificate in Mathematics and honors in the liberal arts. Her research is primarily in theoretical and computational astrophysics. She is working on a project focused on improving the accuracy of the gravitational acceleration profile used in tall-box, multiphase ISM simulations. She is interested to see how the profiles affect the evolution of galactic and interstellar medium structures. Her interests include supernovae, the influence of stellar feedback loops on galactic structure, and gas cloud formation and evolution. Read the student spotlight here.
