People Type: Grad Students

Aldarondo Quiñones, Nadja

Biography Research Interests I am interested in exoplanet formation, migration, and how planets in a system interact with each other.

Aloisi, Bob

Biography Research Interests I am returning to UW – Madison to earn an Astronomy PhD, after initially earning a BS Chemical Engineering degree many years ago. I am working with Professor Vanderburg on Exoplanet research, initially searching for hot Jupiter planets orbiting white dwarf stars.

Armitage, Tayt

Biography Research Interests I am interested in the processes of planetary formation and how the evolution of chemical abundances may impact the future habitability of these systems. My other research interests include exoplanet detection and characterization.

Habegger, Roark

Biography Research Interests Cosmic Ray propagation in the ISM, ICM; Interaction of fluid and kinetic scales in astrophysical plasmas; Compact Object Mergers; Astrophysical Dynamos; Numerical and computational methods for PDEs;

Laseter, Isaac

Biography Research Interests I am broadly interested in early galaxy evolution and the epoch of reionization. My current project involves finding the lowest metallicity Lyman-alpha emitters out to z ~1, which are the nearest analogues of early progenitors.
