Title: Fate of planets during common envelope evolution of binary star
Abstract: Indirect inference of planets around post-common envelope (CE) binaries raises the question of whether the planets survived the CE stage of the binary or if they were formed from the back-falling material, after the CE has been expelled. Using 3D global hydrodynamic simulations in FLASH code, we scan the plausible parameter space of CE energy budget to generate different stellar mass-loss events and follow the dynamics of the first-generation planets by quantifying their orbital properties.
