Hi, my name is Sylvana Yelda. I am an astronomy student at the University of Michigan and I have one year left to go! My summer REU project at the University of Wisconsin - Madison was on binary stars and tidal circularization in the open cluster NGC 6819. I worked with Robert Mathieu. He let me go to Kitt Peak, so I guess he's pretty cool. Read more about my research here.
