Astronomy Department Shops

The Astronomy Department Shops consist of the Electronics Shop in Sterling Hall, and the Instrument Shop and Electronics Shop at the Space Astronomy Lab in Chamberlin Hall.  The shops are responsible for design and developement of ground based instruments, as well as space based instruments used in research. Telescopes, labs, and other classroom equipment used in education are maintained by the shops, as well as the departmental computers and network facilities.
