When I had an urge for some more distinctly Western foods, I could always go into the Safari Supermarket adjacent to the Main Market. This store is operated by Shabbir Hussein, pictured here, and his wife. Extremely hard workers who are dedicated to their business, they always welcomed me warmly. Shabbir would often make trips to Dubai in the Middle East to place orders, leaving his wife to mind the shop.
