Optional Observing on Campus

We have worked out a schedule for optional Washburn Observatory sessions for the Astro 103 classes, courtesy of Jim Lattis and Katie Kern. On the following Tuesday nights, we will open the observatory -- if weather permits. The next evening of these weeks, Wednesday, will be a public night (again, weather permitting), and they too are open for you to have the opportunity to do some viewing.

The next evenings (Thursdays) will be a backup for the first two, and we will open the observatory ONLY if BOTH the preceding Tuesday and Wednesday were clouded out. For further information on Washburn Observatory see this link.
