The 61 Cygni pair form a wide binary.  Both are variable, but George is mostly stable (classified as a rapid irregular with an amplitude of about 0.1 mag).  61 Cyg A has no habitable planets, however, since it's only terrestrial planet is close to the star and suffers from flares from 61 Cyg A's BY Dra variability.  In 2092, a group was uncovered in the Callisto province on Y'barra who had beem practicing gengineering on their children for many years.

Significant bodies:

• Y'Barra (61 Cygni B II) - A colony wealthy in natural resources.  This lifeless, thick-atmosphered world has large domed cities, which were built with money made by exporting many valuables.
• Siberia (61 Cygni B III) - A very cold, large, rocky planet with a moderate atmosphere.  There is a beginning colony in the equatorial regions.
