For Spring 2009, Meet on Tuesdays at 11am in Sterling Hall #3304. Junior women (undergrads, grads, postdocs, and assistant professors) in astronomy and physics are invited to attend and partake in snacks and coffee!
WOWSA regularly meets for informal discussions about women in science. We often have special guests who are more senior women in academia, and our hope is to hear their advice and learn from their experiences. WOWSA is largely modeled after the Women Science Forum at the University of Arizona. WOWSA and its guests are partly sponsored by a grant from WISELI.
