The Astronomy Department offers a variety of undergraduate courses, covering all major areas of modern Astronomy. In general, 100-level courses are open to all students, with minimal pre-requisites. The lab courses 113 and 114 should be taken in conjunction with the associated introductory courses 103 and 104, respectively.

Astronomy majors should take the required 200-level physics classes before taking any of the range of 300-level upper level courses offered. Some 500-level graduate courses are also open to undergraduate enrollment with instructor consent.
