    International Year of Astronomy:

  • 2009 is the International Year of Astronomy. Here in Madison there are a number of activities planned through the UW-Madison Space Place Science Museum.
  • UW-Madison astronomy graduate student Laura Trouille has brought the NASA IYA project From Earth to the Universe (FETTU) to Madison. FETTU is an exhibit of 40 of the most beautiful astronomy images taken by astronomers from around the world.
