Julie Davis Wins 2019 Chambliss Award

UW-Madison Astronomy grad student Julie Davis won one of the coveted 2019 Chambliss Best Poster Awards at the 233rd AAS meeting in Seattle WA. Julie won the award for her poster on "Primary Science with the COSMOS HI Large Extragalactic Survey", or CHILES.

The Astronomy Achievement Student Awards are given to recognize exemplary research by undergraduate and graduate students who present at one of the poster sessions at the meetings of the AAS. Awardees are honored with a Chambliss medal or, in the case of honorable mention, a certificate.
