By Plane:
Flying into Madison: The Dane County Regional Airport (airport code MSN) is located on the far northeast corner of Madison. Taxis can take you to town for approximately $15.00 one way. Major airlines serving Madison include: Midwest Express, Continental, Delta, United, American, and Northwest. Car rental is available. The driving distance is about 15 minutes (directions).
Flying into Milwaukee: General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) in Milwaukee is the next closest airport, about 1.5 hours driving distance. Bus service from MKE to Memorial Union in Madison is available from The Badger Coaches (608-255-6771) with 6 trips daily for $11.00 one way or $20.00 round trip. Travel time is ~2 hours.
Flying into Chicago O’Hare: Chicago’s O’Hare Airport (ORD) is the regions largest international airport. It is about 2.5 hours driving distance from Madison (depending on traffic). The highway between ORD and Madison is a toll road with cash required. Convenient bus service between Chicago and Madison is available from the Van Galder Bus Company (800-747-0994) with 12 trips daily for $27 one way and $54 round trip (travel time is ~ 3 hours).
Flying into Chicago Midway Airport: Chicago Midway Airport (MDW) serves only domestic flights and is about 3 hours driving distance from Madison. By Car:
From Chicago to Fluno Center (~2.5 hours):
•Follow I-90 North
•Take exit 142A (left exit) onto US-12 West/US-18 West (6.0 miles)
•Take exit 261 A-B for Park St., turn right onto Park St. (2.4 miles)
•Turn right at W. Johnson St. (0.2 miles) - the Double Tree will be on your right
•Turn left at N. Frances St. (400 feet)
•Turn left at University Ave. (13 feet) - the Fluno Center will be on your left
From Milwaukee to Fluno Center (~1.5 hours):
•Take I-94 West towards Madison (~70 miles)
•Continue on WI-30 West (3.1 miles)
•Exit onto US-151/East Washington Ave. towards Madison (1.7 miles)
•Turn right at N. 1st St. (0.2 miles)
•Turn left at E. Johnson St. (2.3 miles), which turns into University Ave. - the Fluno center will be on your left
