Midwest Magnetic Fields Workshop

27 May, 2016

Overview

The Midwest Magnetic Fields (MMF) workshop is an annual meeting to promote discussion and collaboration between groups in the Midwest studying astrophysical magnetic fields. This year, the MMF workshop is being held in conjunction with Star formation, magnetic fields, and diffuse matter in the galaxy: a conference honoring Richard Crutcher & Carl Heiles which will be held 23–26 May, 2016.

The MMF workshop topics include:

  • Measuring magnetic fields
  • MHD turbulence
  • Magnetized processes
  • Cosmic ray accelerations
  • Dynamo and reconnection

Organizers: Alex Lazarian, Vanessa López-Barquero
